In Case You Missed It...

O.M.E.

Robert, I so apologize for questioning whether or not you would shower and ditch that horrific knit cap for the Oscars.

You were stunning. Debonaire. And thank you: So EDWARD-y.

  3. He definitely made an otherwise boring Oscars so worthwhile! I just love how he exudes insecurity and shyness ... so different from the other morons in attendance who are totally in love with themselves. And that voice of his ... Yummy!

  6. apparently he loaded his hat to philip seymour hoffman...

he was very edward. Since the shave I'm suspecting there is a well paid publicist who helps him remember to bathe and wash his hair.

  8. Oh my! The boy is yummy! I just recently drank the Twilight Kool-aid and am still trying to figure out what's wrong with me. I'm a 39 y.o. SAHM. Not a teenybopper, as I'm sure most of you on this site are not. I'm inappropriately obsessed for sure. I've only read the first two books. On a whim I bought the first one just to see what all the fuss was about. I read it in two days and waited as long as I could (3 days) before running out and getting the 2nd one. Finished that one in 2 days and am trying to keep myself from buying the next 2 right away so it won't be over so soon. I haven't even seen the movie, but I find myself looking at these sites and viewing clip after clip on youtube. I don't know what it is. The books aren't like GREAT literature, and the movie? It's gotta be a tad cheesy if you're over 16. But you bet I'm gonna rent it as soon as it comes out (and watch it by myself under cover of darkness). I'm in love with a damn fictional vampire for christ's sake! What is wrong with me? I guess it's just that S. Meyer has the lusty teen angst thing down. Makes me remember my first love when I was 18. Well, he wasn't a vampire or anything, but still...

  10. Yeah, I totally can't wait for the DVD. Although I haven't seen it in the theater, I've watched the "important" clips online and I get all tingly. So sad....

  12. Anon I totally understand what you are going through and I am over 40 I can not believe I am in love with a vampire. I have not seen the movie yet. Cannot wait to. Reading the books was like a nightly fix!

  13. Anon - I am about to be 36, 3 kids, in nursing school - I definitely don't even have time for this but OMG! I didn't "drink the KoolAid" so to speak until I saw the movie. I liked the books so-so, but when I saw Rob onscreen, I wass literally head over heels. I now check Google daily for any new info on him. I have watched EVERY SINGLE interview I can find with him on YouTube. I asked my husband if I could get a poster of him and put it in our room!! :)

  14. Sue totally hit it dead on - my sil was the same way - books were ok, but when he saw the movie she texted me and was like OMG! Where has he been all my life??

  15. Anon#1 here. Okay, so I just bought the 2nd two books today in Target. And I stood there for 15 minutes drooling over the Twilight Movie Companion book. (The sales lady kept staring at me.) But I drew the line at spending another $16... I've had a cold for the past few days so I've had a good excuse for being a couch potato and surfing the web for all things Twilight, (including reading all of Midnight Sun that's available online, which was great since it's 100% Edward) but I guess I really should stop neglecting my child.... Oh well, she's watching a video right now anyway. Better start reading Eclipse. Swoon...

  16. To my dears Anon#1 and Anon#2: just a heads up on the movie (DVD coming out 3/21) Be prepared for scenes that are cheesy and overacted AND scenes that are perfect. It's almost like 2 directors took turns. But nevertheless, Edward is perfection. The music playing in the restaurant scene with edward & bella is Rob Pattinson singing. Also, look for a cameo by Stephenie meyer in the diner scene.
